Google image search searches only for images tagged with English on the net, but there are Zillions of photos on the net which are tagged in numerous other languages but can not be found by google since the meta data is in English.
http://www.panimages.org/ is a site which searches data by co-relating and translating the term in 350 online dictionaries and turning up almost 57 times on an average image results. Very handy for people of countries who uses language other than English or French.
